The team at REID Lifting have been more than a match for one of the most challenging years in modern history. Every member of staff has worked tirelessly to ensure that we continue to provide the same outstanding service to all our clients.
As industry innovators, we have used 2021 to launch a range of new guides and customer assistance tools to enable our customers across the lifting industry to easily access and utilize our product range. Our products have also been used in several high-profile lifting projects in the US and around the world.
REID Lifting Porta Gantry unique projects in 2021
The REID Lifting Porta Gantry is one of the strongest gantry lifting systems on the market today. It is compatible with a range of winches and hoists, and has a maximum goods lifting capacity of 11,000lb and a maximum personnel lifting capacity of 5,500lb. It has outstanding customization potential and has been used as the gantry of choice in a diverse range of applications.
In 2021, the REID Lifting Porta Gantry was specified for use in many lifting projects. Two of the most high-profile of these were the transportation of high-tech security and anti-terrorism equipment in Taipei, Taiwan and lifting beams to support in the installation of solar panels on buildings across New York City. In both cases, the projects were a complete success, and the Porta Gantry was instrumental in providing a strong and safe method of moving and positioning the equipment.
Innovative marketing and sales tools introduced
In January 2021, we launched our new online product presentations. The Marketing team at REID Lifting has produced a series of videos which customers can use to see all the features and benefits of the products in a bite-size 7-minute package. New product videos from the gantry and davit specialists at REID Lifting will give hire companies, resellers, and end users access to a selection of professional presentations from a REID sales manager, all day every day.
In 2021, when more people spent increasing amounts of time at home, online videos helped millions of people to learn and connect on both a professional and personal level. Initial customer feedback on our online videos has been extremely positive. Many of our customers have stated that being able to watch our products being used by industry professionals alongside the detailed technical information available on our website has enabled them to get a more realistic and comprehensive understanding of our products.
New specification guide launched
Also in 2021, we launched a new specification guide for our gantry range. The guide is designed to help our customers to specify the perfect gantry solution for their lifting and lowering requirements. It contains detailed information about the range of customisations available and helps customers to fully understand our product’s potential usage.
