The Porta Gantry Rapide is a height adjustable, foldable gantry designed for easy storage and rapid deployment. It is perfect for use in confined spaces because of its compact size and adjustable design and provides excellent safety capacity in terms of fall arrest activation.

A unique feature of our Porta Gantry Rapide is its ability to be used for a fall protection anchor point. It has a range of accessories that make it suitable for fall protection applications. When combined with the testing we have done, The Porta Gantry Rapide easily meets the requirements of international fall protection standards.
The Porta Ganty Rapide is compatible with a range of winch brackets that can either fit to the trap plate, or to the A frame column. We then have a sheave which can be located in between the cheek plates, enabling you to route the cable from a winch or retrieval fall arrest device through to the underside of the beam. This allows the Porta Gantry Rapide to be set up for a single or double sheave carrier, enabling further routing of the cable to align above an opening, allowing a worker to enter, for example, a confined space.

The Porta Gantry Rapide is often specified for use in confined spaces. To enable its use in confined spaces, the device is completely adjustable. Each leg of the gantry has a height adjustable, swivel locking castor, enabling you to level the gantry up on uneven ground. It’s simple to incrementally increase the height allowing you to easily move it into position.
Each gantry frame has an incremental 3.9″ height adjustment facility, ranging from 6 to 10 adjustment points, depending on the size of the frame. With the beam and trolley options, the beam has holes along its length allowing the trolley of your choice to be locked into position. One of the A frames can also be moved in board on the beam, so if you are working in a confined area restricted by equipment on the floor you can adjust the width of the gantry to fit.
