Manufactured from marine grade aluminum – The PORTA GANTRY RAPIDE is constructed from aluminum which is anodized to provide a quality surface finish and a good level of corrosion resistance for even the harshest environments. This makes the gantry suitable for ATEX (explosive) environments [ATEX Zone 2 is standard, Zone 1 can be achieved with a simple upgrade].
Height Adjustment – Each gantry A-frame has an incremental 4” height adjustment range. The gantry has between 5 and 9 adjustment points depending on the size of the A-frame.
Easily transportable system – Each gantry comes with integrated carry straps, a handle and a transport wheel which makes moving the system around a worksite comfortable and easy, even for a single person. The system also has swivel locking castors, enabling you to easily move the gantry into position when fully assembled.
Gated Trolley options and Winch capable – We offer two patented gated trolley options, a close coupled which is designed for applications where you need a maximum height of lift or a master link version if you prefer the convenience of a larger opening for a variety of hoist or lifting devices. Materials handling capacity of up to 2200lb – The comes in a wide range of sizes with capacity ratings from 550lb through to 2200lb. The gantry capacity is determined by the A-frame size and beam length.
This system can also be used as a dual-use system where it can be used to lift equipment and be used as in personnel applications, making it the ideal solution for confined space access tasks.
