REID Lifting gantry systems are available in two models: the Porta Gantry and the Porta Gantry Rapide. The Porta Gantry is a strong, durable, and lightweight lifting device which can be combined with a range of winches and hoists. The Porta Gantry Rapide is a height adjustable foldable lifting system which can be assembled by one person in less than a minute.
The REID Lifting Porta Gantry is designed to lift both goods and personnel. It has a maximum goods lifting weight of 11,000lb and maximum personnel lifting weight of 5,500lb. The Porta Gantry Rapide is also designed for both goods and personnel lifting. It has a maximum goods lifting weight of 2,200lb and maximum personnel lifting weight of 1,100lb.
Independently tested for strength and safety
All REID Lifting gantry systems have been independently tested by a selection of third-party organizations. In terms of health and safety, both the Porta Gantry and Porta Gantry Rapide achieve compliance with industry-leading experts OSHA. OSHA compliance ensures that all systems within a workplace are safe to use and do not pose a hazard which is dangerous to employees.
Both REID Lifting gantry systems are tested for their fall protection capacity. They achieve ANSI Z359.18-17 accreditation. When used as an anchor point for fall protection applications, REID Lifting gantries are strong enough to protect up to three persons (Porta Gantry) and two persons (Porta Gantry Rapide).

All REID Lifting gantries are manufactured from strong, durable, and lightweight aluminum. To further increase the inherent strength of the aluminum, all aluminum used in REID Lifting gantries undergoes a process of anodization.
Anodization is an electro-chemical process which enhances the characteristics of the aluminum’s surface. When aluminum is anodized, a hard outer layer is created on the exterior of the metal. This layer is extremely corrosion resistant and will greatly increase the lifespan and performance of the system which has been anodized.
Excellent customization capacity
Both the Porta Gantry and Porta Gantry Rapide are compatible with a range of customizations. Depending on your requirements and subject to capacity ratings, our gantries can be specified for use in a wide variety of applications.
With the Porta Gantry, beams and A-frames can be interchanged and the gantry can be moved under load with the correct instruction and supervision. With the Porta Gantry Rapide, you can choose from three height adjustable versions depending on your requirements. Maximum height is 9.5ft lifting eye height and a range of beam lengths can be accommodated up to 13ft in size.
